What you should know about hand tools and power tools

Having the right tool for the job is one way to increase productivity and elevate the quality of the finished working. There are various methods of classifying tools. In general, tools are often classified as hand tools and power tools. Hand tool is a device for doing a particular job that does not use a motor, but is powered solely by the person using it. So hand tools include all non-powered tools, such as hammer and pliers. Power tool is a device that use a power source other than human. Electric drill is the most popular example for power tool.

Today, the large number of power tools available in the market. These power tools makes it possible to do many jobs that formerly required hand tools. But power tools are potentially dangerous, because they mainly run off electricity, and because they are so quick and powerful. Always read and understand safety and operating instructions before using any power tools.
